Accessibility

Soap Workbench, LLC wants Soap Workbench to work for everyone who runs a soap business, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom, or a phone.
Our target
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Every page has labels on its form fields, text alternatives for meaningful images, text with enough contrast, a visible focus outline, and controls that work with a keyboard alone.
How we check
Before every change goes live, an automated check opens every page at phone and tablet sizes and tests it with axe, an accessibility checker, along with checks for tap target size, text that doesn't fit, and sideways scrolling. Automated tools can't catch everything, so reports from people who use the app matter most.
Known gaps
- The app hasn't had a full review by an outside accessibility expert or by screen reader users yet.
- Files you download (CSV exports, batch sheets you print) follow the layout of the program you open them in.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard or impossible to use, email SoapWorkbench@gmail.com or, once you're signed in, use the "Report a problem" button on any page. Tell us the page and what happened. We'll reply, and help you get the task done another way while we fix it.
